Rugby Sevens Tournament
DATE: JUNE 17TH – 9.30AM – 5PM

VENUE: KINGSHOLM STADIUM
The inaugural Gloucestershire 7s tournament for junior clubs is to be played in the Kingsholm Stadium! This is a fantastic opportunity for local players to play at the iconic Gloucester home ground to fight it to be crowned County Champions. There will be a wonderful festival atmosphere, with local club players and supporters enjoying loads of live entertainment, food, and drink plus, of course, some great rugby! Kids come free, so it will be a fantastic family day out.
Each team will have a Gloucester player as a celebrity coach for the day! This promises to be the start of another annual festival tradition for Gloucestershire!
3 Peaks Challenge
DATE: 29TH JUNE – 1ST JULY
The ultimate climbing challenge in the UK – scaling the highest peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales within a 24-hour period. This is not for the faint-hearted – 23 miles, 3064 metres ascent,and 462 miles between them! It requires strength, fitness, teamwork, and logistics!

Dursley Dinner & Dance

After an absence of three years due to the pandemic, DRC is pleased to host their famous and ever-popular annual dinner dance. This year offers the opportunity to honour arguably their greatest rugby son, Ben Morgan. Dursley is where it all started for Ben in their junior ranks, so it will also be a chance for him to go back to his roots and thank the club!
Tickets will be limited, so get involved early!
Testimonial Golf Day

Join us for an exciting day of golf at Minchinhampton Golf Club! We’re thrilled to welcome 20 teams of four for a shotgun start tournament that’s sure to be a blast. After the game, we’ll all gather together for a delicious meal that’s included in the registration fee. But the fun doesn’t stop there – we’ll have a raffle, silent auction, and an auction for the coveted wooden spoon trophy. And let’s not forget about the winners’ prize! Stay tuned for more details on what’s sure to be an unforgettable golf day.

WORLD CUP LEGENDS DINNER

This is the highlight of Ben’s Testimonial Year. A prestigious dinner
to be headlined by the great Sir Geoff Hurst (still the only man to score the “perfect” hat-trick to win a World Cup final!).
The dinner will also feature World Cup winners from a variety of sports (hopefully to include the England rugby team and the England Lionesses if all goes well later this year!) together with numerous sporting icons Amy Williams, Harry Redknapp, Mike Tindall and Nigel Benn.
Closing Party

Ben’s Testimonial year will close with an extravaganza of a dinner/dance party to be held at Kingsholm. This will be the opportunity for the people of Gloucestershire to thank Ben for his dedication to Gloucester Rugby over the past 10 years. It also promises to be a great evening.
